Who's Vikram Bhatt’s lucky mascot?

Who is Vikram Bhatt`s lucky mascot? The filmmaker considers his teenaged daughter Krishna as his lucky mascot

Though filmmaker Vikram Bhatt’s teenaged daughter Krishna has begun taking interest within the production aspects of his projects, he feels she is more veered towards acting.

More importantly, he considers her as his lucky charm. He feels her presence in his films can ensure their project’s smooth sailing.

He cast her as a pianist in his horror flick Haunted last year. In his upcoming film with Karisma Kapoor, she essays a Mughal character.

Says Vikram, “Krishna has already threatened me about not talking about it. She has told me otherwise she won’t act in my future films. She is an independent girl with a mind of her own.”

He adds, “During Haunted, I USED TO BE searching for a pianist, when you consider that she has learnt the right way to play it, I cast her. She turned out to be my lucky mascot.

While shooting for the Karisma film, I DIDN'T plan her role on the outset. But through the shooting there are scenes set during Emperor Humayan’s reign. That’s once I considered casting her as a Mughal character.”

The cameo has her mouthing lines with Karisma and co-star Rajniesh Duggal within the frame. Krishna who's studying on the Ryan Global School plans to be her dad’s assistant director in his future projects.

“She is doing her International Baccalaureate programme, could also be later she is going to join a movie school. But I DO KNOW that she loves acting.”

For the past few years, Vikram was spotted together with his daughter (from his ex-wife Aditi) at various B-Town events.

He narrates all his story ideas and scripts to his daughter first. He feels he get instant reactions through her expressions and accordingly works at the script. Vikram was 14 when he started with Mukul Anand’s Kanoon Kya Karega in 1984. Krishna followed suit at 16.
