After Nargis Fakhri was given the marching orders from Akshay Kumar’s next film, word is that Asin was roped in for the same role. The explanation why Nargis was ousted was because she didn’t look ‘the part’ of Mithun’s sister.
The grapevine is abuzz with news that the makers now have found a super replacement for Nargis.
Asin apparently has been signed for a similar role, way to her ‘earthy’ looks. And because debuting in Ghajini, this may increasingly be the actress’ sixth film in Bollywood.
Asin’s father who handles her work tells us, “It can be better if you happen to ask the production house to confirm”. Both Asin and the producers remained unavailable to comment.
