'Wearing a corset, putting on fake nails everyday... isn't for me'
She made many dance to her moves, and now it's her turn to provide retakes until her director Bela Sehgal feels happy. Choreographer-director Farah Khan is all able to hit the 70mm screen, however the lady seems quite fed up of the job. In fact, she promises to not act in another film.
Farah quips, “Frankly speaking, I USED TO BE complaining 24x7 while shooting for the film. Staying in costume at all times was frustrating. I desperately desired to come again in my track pants and rubber chappals.”
She further complains, “It is a difficult job being an actress. They must worry about such a lot of things that appear so irrelevant to me.”
When we asked if acting (Farah plays a 40-year-old spinster within the film) was a hard task, she reverts, “In fact, acting came quite easy, but putting on make-up, doing up my hair, wearing a corset, putting on fake nails… all that was very tedious.
Even in real life, once I need to opt for a party, decking up is the very last thing I NEED to do. The issue isn't putting them on but removing them. Just imagine doing all that each day.” Calming down just a little Farah says, “I know people it, however it isn't just me.”
