Pehchan Kaun: When Ameesha met HrithikAmeesha Patel and Kuunal Goomer recently caught up with Sourav Ganguly on the star-studded bash hosted by Mukesh Ambani

Almost two weeks ago, Sachin Tendulkar scored his much-awaited hundredth century. During the last weekend, industrialist and owner of the IPL team Mumbai Indians, Mukesh Ambani threw a bash to celebrate this feat.

The star-studded party was held at his residential building, Antilia, with the bigwigs of both Bollywood and Indian cricket attending the development.

Actress Ameesha Patel and Kuunal Goomer were invited too as they've known the Ambani family for some time now and were very excited to join this occasion where Sachin Tendulkar was felicitated.

Says a source, "Ameesha feels that the Ambanis have always been great hosts. Ameesha has visited the Ambani mansion before and feels it's nothing lower than a privilege.

In fact, she also complements the Ambani family at the way they respect and treat each guest at their parties. They only make the guest feel so special."

But what turned out to be the highlight of the night for Kuunal and Ameesha was meeting India's ex-captain Sourav Ganguly.

Kuunal was an enormous fan of his since years and has always admired his way of living and the truth that he's been the sort of fighter during tough times.

Interestingly, three years back, Kuunal used to present Sourav Ganguly's fighting spirit for instance to Ameesha when she was dealing with the difficulties and today she is back where she belongs.

When Sourav met Ameesha and Kuunal, he immediately asked them how their production company was progressing and likewise that he keeps reading about them.

He also said that he is well aware and fascinated about the developments and that was particularly warm and touching for Ameesha and Kuunal.

"Ameesha and i've always been very keen to involve ourselves in cricket. In fact, we had even met Rajiv Shukla, Chairman of IPL and shown our keen interest to have a stake in a single of the teams, but I ASSUME things didn't figure out this year as a result of some reasons, but hopefully by next year that we'll join this great sport that entertains all and sundry within the country," ends Kuunal Goomer.
