Actress Kareena Kapoor, who has lately been doing many item numbers in Bollywood, is gearing up for her next item song in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Heroine".
"We have a brand new item song called 'Halkat Jawani' that is a gorgeous song with a purpose to be picturised on Kareena Kapoor. I'M sure the audiences will love this song. This film 'Heroine' could be a special kind of film for Kareena Kapoor, " Bhandarkar told.
Directed by Bhandarkar, the film has Kareena and Arjun Rampal within the lead.
The director says 40 percent of the shooting was done.
"Forty percent of the film was finished. From (April) 10th, we can again have a nonstop shooting and by September the film might be released, " he said.
Bhandarkar also sought to disclaim speculation that the film relies on Manisha Koirala's life.
"This film isn't in line with Manisha Koirala. It's absolutely wrong. Lot of items have been written concerning the film before. I'VE created a personality called Mahi Arora who's today's girl. The film is all about how she witnesses the ups and downs in her life, " he said.
