Salman invests in Yatra.com

Salman invests in Yatra.comBollywood star Salman Khan has became a businessman - he has invested within the online travel portal Yatra.com and also will be the face of its new campaign in India and the US.

The association will strengthen the company's connect to the hundreds and increase the brand's recall value in tier-II and III towns, said a press statement.

Salman is asking forward to the venture.

"I am really fascinated about my association with Yatra.com. This isn't a regular brand association, where I'M there only for face value. With Yatra, I'M also now a shareholder," said Salman in a statement.

"I have immense confidence at the brand and am hopeful that the association can be beneficial for the either one of us," he added.

The "Dabangg" star's NGO, Being Human, too will have the benefit of this association.

As a part of the endeavour, Yatra.com will contribute a token amount to Being Human each time a transaction happens on their website. The corporate may also sell Being Human merchandise on its website, the sale of which, again, might be contributed to the NGO.

"We have always wanted expand to newer mass markets and associating with Salman would enable us to do the same," said Dhruv Shringi, CEO and co-founder, Yatr.

The new campaign of the emblem can be launched in April.
