Contrary to reports that Rajnikanth has taken charge of his son-in-law Dhanush’s ambitious Tamil-Hindi romantic saga directed by Rajnikanth’s wife Aishwarya, in truth Dhanush’s Hindi debut is being manoeuvred completely by Dhanush. .

Dhanush who was painstakingly engaged on the Hindi version of three has apparently decided to take Kamal Haasan’s advice seriously.
Says a source with regards to the project, “The film has gone into serious re-editing. Most pros feel 3 didn’t work to its optimum level on the Tamil and Telugu boxoffice as a result of its inordinate length. Kamalji saw the film and made suggestions as to how and where to prune down the length, specially within the second-half.
Says Dhanush, “Yes I'M editing the film down further. Kamal Sir did see the film and was kind enough to make suggestions. ”
